Yves Saint Laurent
Casa de modă franceză Yves Saint Laurent, cunoscută și sub numele YSL, a fost fondată de Yves Henri Donat Mathieu-Saint-Laurent. Avea doar 17 ani, când a luat calea modei plină de farmec. Mentorul său a fost Christian Dior, care ia oferit sfaturi neprețuite despre lumea modei și a frumuseții.
Avea doar 21 de ani când mentorul său Christian Dior a murit, lăsându-l ca șef al casei lui Dior. Timpul petrecut în această poziție de prestigiu totuși, a fost scurt pe măsură ce a fost trimis în armată. La câțiva ani după terminarea serviciului său militar, el și-a început propria companie de modă.
Creatorul primului frac de femei, Yves Saint Laurent, este unul dintre cei mai influenți designeri de modă din anii 1960 și 1970. Primul parfum al brandului, Y pentru femei, a fost lansat în 1964. Astăzi YSL oferă sute de parfumuri de succes create de cei mai buni parfumieri din lume.
