Ermenegildo Zegna
Ermengildo Zegna is a sophisticated fashion brand of Italian origin, focused on the production of stylish men's clothing and accessories. The brand was founded in 1910, but the story began even earlier with the family business of Ermengildo Zegna's father, who bequeathed to him his wool factory in Piedmont. Thus, the initial activity was aimed at producing fine quality fabrics, slowly growing and becoming one of the world leaders in the field. Later, Aldo and Angelo take over the business after the death of their father, Ermengildo Zegna, with one brother taking over the textile business and the other dealing with clothing and accessories. The brand's first boutique was set up in Paris in 1980, followed by Milan, and in 1991 the brand managed to enter China as well. Today, the company has eight manufacturing facilities around the world and offers stylish suits, ties, shirts, sportswear, watches, glasses and perfumes. The brand has partnered with other popular brands, to assist Tom Ford in its appearance in the fashion world, to design the interior of a special Quattroporte model by Maserati, to issue joint collections of luxury watches with one of the Swiss leaders Girard-Perregaux, as well as glasses with the Marcolin Group.
In the perfume world, Ermengildo Zegna does not betray its concept of providing luxury and style for the exquisite gentleman. The fragrances of the company are all for men, with the first Zegna pour Homme launched in 1992 with YSL Beaute. The brand subsequently signed a licensed production agreement with Estee Lauder Campanies. Famous perfumers who created the scents for the Italian fashion giant are Alberto Morillas, Jacques Cavallier, Pierre Negrin, Daniela (Roche) Andrier, Harry Fremont and others.
